The six Canadian denominations of 1965 as issued in the Royal Canadian Mint's proof-like set, still sealed in the original pliofilm pouch. The dime, quarter, half dollar and dollar are 80 percent silver and together hold 34.5 grams of pure silver, an actual silver weight of 1.11 troy ounces.
The reverses are Emanuel Hahn's voyageur on the dollar and his Bluenose on the dime, the arms of Canada on the half dollar, the caribou on the quarter, the beaver on the five cents and the maple twig on the cent. The obverse is Arnold Machin's tiara portrait of Elizabeth II, new to Canadian coinage in 1965.
1965 is the year collectors sort dollars by die variety, the small and large bead obverses paired against pointed and blunt fives. This set has not been attributed to a variety and is offered as it comes, unopened.
