A Canadian silver dollar for the centennial of the City of Winnipeg, dual-dated 1874-1974, in the mint's case with the purple satin lining and the city arms. Composition is .500 fine silver at 23.33 grams, an actual silver weight of 0.375 troy ounce.
The reverse sets the numeral 100 across the field with a view of Winnipeg's Main Street in 1874 inside the first zero and the modern city inside the second, a design by Paul Pederson and Patrick Brindley. The obverse carries the Machin portrait.
The coin is bright with light peripheral toning. Case, insert and outer sleeve are all present.
